46 knucklehead survivor

I've been looking for a Panhead for my next build and when I found that there was no new ones to look at on Craigslist, I thought I'd see how expensive knuckleheads are getting to be these days...This one came up in Houston for a very reasonable price and since there was a phone number, I thought I'd call and see what the story was. It had been up for two days already so I wasn't expecting much.

"Mr. Richards here"..."yeah, I was scrapping a metal building about six years ago and I found this bike covered up in the corner of it"...since then it's been sitting on my back porch, but Mama needs eye surgery,so, it's time to go"

He seemed real attached and said his goodbyes to the scoot but we were both happy about the price we finally agreed on. After all...he didn't have any money in this bike!

It didn't come with a seat or pushrods and the front end is seized up but the motor and tranny are working properly and it hasn't been molested in the last 35 or so years!
